All this means is that the app on your phone can’t talk to the server at the moment. It is just a bad connection, or low phone signal and generally resolves itself pretty quickly.
Kontrak Social is all about creating trust and strengthening bonds between people. Using a selfies as a signature shows the person you are dealing with that you trust them. You can’t upload a selfie in to our app – the must be taken with your phone’s camera. This is to help ensure the person you are making a Kontrak with is the person you want to make a Kontrak with.
Your selfies are not publicly available. To se your profile selfie another Kontrak Social user needs to be connected to you within Kontrak Social. This and the use of a phone number (you need to already be contacts) as the user ID is so they can confirm who they are connecting with.
Selfies you use to sign Kontraks can ONLY be see by the person you are creating the Kontrak with.

To sign up for Kontrak Social, simply download the app from the App Store or Google Play Store, and follow the prompts to create an account using your phone number.
Yes, Kontrak Social is free to download and use. However, there may be optional in-app purchases for premium features or enhanced services over time.
the basics of Kontrak Social are simple.
- Speak to the person you are looking to make a Kontrak with and flesh out the basics.
- In the app, select which type of Kontrak you wish to use
- Select your contact and proceed or add them to the app
- Enter your terms including whether the Kontrak is rated or not
- Sign with a selfie and send!
You will then be prompted to send details to your contact through your phones native messaging app, this is required for any new users as we do not send unsolicited messages, they must come from a trusted source. If your contact has an existing account and the app installed it will send a push notification and appear as “pending” on their overview screen.
Once both parties agree to the terms and sign using a selfie, the contract is established within the app. For a more detailed overview of the process please click below.
This one we get often, when a Kontrak is created we do not automatically send the other users mobile a link, we found that this would often be mistaken for spam and deleted so instead we created an export button (send Kontrak to (your contact)) which will create a notification in your native phone app.
Sending the link from your trusted number to the other party avoids scammers from pretending to be Kontrak Social and keeps your Kontraks secure.
The message will contain a simple link to the app or play store which will advise them to download the app and that there is a Kontrak pending linked to their phone number.
No privacy is key with Kontrak Social. Only the person you have the Kontrak with will be able to see the Kontrak, its status and any associated information.
Your Trust rating is a little different though as this will be public and searchable by your contacts and reflect live within the app.

If you wish to delete your account on Kontrak Social, you can do so by accessing the account settings within the app and following the instructions to deactivate or delete your account.
Yes, technically you can use Kontrak Social on multiple devices by logging in with the same account credentials on each device however you will need to have the phone number associated with the account at signing in to verify the One Time Pin (OTP) that Is sent for account verification.

If you come across inappropriate behaviour or contracts on Kontrak Social, you can report them by tapping on the “Report” button located within the app. Our team will review the report and take appropriate action. Remember our terms and conditions state;
You will not post any content that could be construed as: pornographic (including nudity), racist speech including SPEECH THAT IS ILLEGAL IN YOUR JURISDICTION, threatening, discriminatory, unlawful, gratuitous violence or inciting violence. We at Kontrak are parents and just warning you if you post anything that is harmful to a minor or depicts harm to a minor or anyone else, including yourself, not only will you be blacklisted from our platform, but we at Kontrak have a policy of Mandatory Reporting. Remember to think before you post. It’s not how you interpret the content, it’s about how others will interpret content. This one is super serious.
