Why we started
The idea was born through necessity. Our founder Blake gave an acquaintance a personal loan to start a small business, and – being a nice guy – never pressured them to repay for fear of harming the relationship. When the time came, the awkward conversation arrived: “But you didn't set terms.”
Terms were set, repayments began, and Blake wondered: “Why isn't there anything to help with this?” He brought the idea to Mat, who was hooked instantly, and – with help from Mullumbimby-based Deprogram – the build began in Australia.

Everyone, all around the world, makes social contracts every day. From borrowing a book or helping with chores, to lending a mate $20 for lunch.
We want to help people navigate simple agreements, strengthen (and save) relationships, and give people with limited resources the opportunity to grow – without being beholden to large, uncaring corporations. You know who we mean.

Founder & CEO
Blake co-founded the IPN Valuers network and has been in the property game since 2012. He's the brain (and CEO) behind Kontrak Social, driving the design and development of the app and pioneering the market of social contracting.
Mat Peden
Founder & COO
Mat specialises in taking projects of all shapes from concept through to market delivery. He leapt at Blake’s idea immediately and now applies his media and production experience to something he believes can make a real difference.
Jay Pring
Co-Founder & CCO
A veteran of business management and start-up commercialisation, Jay has worked with brands including R.M.Williams, Salesforce, Samsung and News Limited. As CCO he leads commercialisation and market valuation.
Mark Curach
Co-Founder & CTO
Mark has 20+ years delivering top-tier data storage and multimedia solutions, with a track record in complex Azure cloud migrations. His blend of IT, accounting and law shapes our technology strategy.
